TERMS & SHIPPING POLICY
Payment is accepted via PayPal. Payment must be made in full (including shipping) before a dragon(s) is shipped. Dragons can be held for up to 1 week per arrangement and with a deposit of 30% of total (includes shipping); if buyer pulls out of sale, the deposit will not be refunded. If a dragon(s) is purchased in full and the buyer pulls out of the sale before shipment, 30% of total plus PayPal fee on the 30% will not be refunded.
All shipping is done via FedEx Preferred Overnight at discounted rates which are passed onto the customer. In most cases, the dragon will deliver the next day by 10:30 AM but in some cases it will deliver by 12:00 PM (to the continental US). Deliveries can be made to a residence or a workplace but must be signed for or the Live Delivery and Health Guarantee of the animal(s) will be nullified. I prefer to ship M-W for T-Th deliveries but sometimes can make arrangements for a Th shipment to deliver on a Friday. Weekend delivery is not available. Dragons are taken to our main airport shipping hub late in the evening in most cases to reduce travel time and overall time spent within shipping parcel.
Shipping/delivery days are usually determined by the buyer unless a weather event dictates otherwise. Shipping can be performed year round and throughout the entirety of winter (some days are too cold). Winter shipping includes winter packaging and a heat pack(s). The winter packaging utilizes a very exceptional insulating product used within the building/construction industry: it is a special 2-layered product fitted to the inside of the shipping box and insulates many times better than typical foam insulation.
Shipping rates are determined by your zip code and quantity/size of dragon(s) ordered. Shipping generally runs from $28-$65 (rates include necessary packaging and heat pack(s) for your zip code). Multiple dragons often can be shipped for the same price, if not slightly more than that of a single dragon. Dragons are guaranteed for live delivery. In the extremely rare event that a dragon(s) dies in transit, the customer must notify me on the SAME day as delivery. If a parcel has noticeable damage to it, the customer should sign it as such and video themselves opening the parcel so that I can make a claim with the carrier. The customer needs to take photos of the animal(s), video the animal(s), and send the files to me immediately so that I can confirm the animals in question as each one is marked before it is shipped out. If all this is done, I will replace the animal with a similar animal; if a similar animal is not available, I will refund your payment.

The sex of young dragons is not guaranteed as some can be 'late bloomers.' However, the vast majority of sexed dragons turn out to be correctly sexed. Older dragons have established reproductive organs and sexing them does not ever result in any confusion/discrepancy.
All dragons advertised and sold are done so in good health (from date-of-hatch to shipment date). Dragons come with a 30 day health guarantee (from date of shipment). *Any major/irreversible issues or fatalities that occur within the aforementioned 30 days will result in a replacement dragon of similar qualities/traits: if a similar dragon is not available, a refund will be offered. *Customer pays shipping on replacement dragon and if a refund is deemed necessary, it will not include original shipping costs. *Replacements and refunds will also not be granted if illnesses/issues/fatalities occurred due to improper husbandry issues determined by questioning, photos, videos, and other information. Customers are highly encouraged to contact me as soon as they notice any potential issue or if they have any husbandry questions to avoid any negative issues period. Customers are required to check in with me weekly to present updates and information on the newly acquired animal's behavior and to ask any husbandry questions that they may have for the first 30 days to keep the guarantee intact; if they do not and something goes wrong health-wise with the animal, it may be too late to correct the issue and the buyer has taken on this risk void of any replacement/refund guarantee. It is also required that before a purchase, the customer reads my CARE SHEET in full, creates an environment in accordance to it prior to the dragon's arrival, and maintains the environment in accordance after arrival, as well as follows all other husbandry topics within the sheet. *Photos, videos, and other proof may be requested to confirm that the animal in question is indeed the animal sold by JDH to the customer.
